Welcome To Case Ranch
There’s a certain feeling you get when you pull up to the ranch in Eldorado, a sense of quiet pride, deep roots, and the kind of hospitality you only find in West Texas. For us, Case Ranch isn’t just a business; it’s our home and our heritage. We invite you to step into our world, where the coffee is always on, the gates are open, and the legacy of the Hereford breed is a way of life.
Our story has a unique beginning, stretching all the way from the bustling industrial streets of Racine, Wisconsin, to the wide-open horizons of the Texas Divide. While J.I. Case was known as the "Threshing Machine King" in Racine, his heart was captured by the Texas landscape in the 1880s. That vision truly came to life when P.F. Case moved the family to the ranch in 1937. Since then, four generations of Cases have walked these 5,200 acres.
We’ve seen the seasons change and the years fly by, but our commitment to the land and the cattle has never wavered. When you work with us, you’re not just buying a bull; you’re becoming part of a story that’s been unfolding for over 100 years.
We take it personally when it comes to our cattle. We don't just raise Herefords; we live alongside them. From the first steps of a newborn calf to the powerful presence of our herd sires, we put our hearts into every animal on the ranch. We focus on docility, strength, and those "good-doing" genetics because we want our cattle to work as hard for your family as they do for ours.
We’re proud to see our genetics thriving in pastures across 40 states, carrying the Case Ranch name with them.
If you see a plume of dust on the horizon, it’s likely Angela out on her Case IH tractor or Pete checking the water gaps. Our partnership started at Angelo State and has grown into a lifetime of shared chores and sunsets. After a rewarding career in education, Angela joined the ranch full-time in 2016. Since then, Pete and Angela have been working side-by-side, and they haven't looked back since.
We love what we do, we love this land, and more than anything, we love sharing it with folks like you. Come on by and see us! The views are great, but the company and the cattle are even better.
